Responsible for extending a welcoming, caring, and elevated experience for customers by providing information on services, fares, and schedules, as well as assisting with booking and confirmation of flights. In this role, I was able to assist passengers with processing payments, refunds, and providing general customer service information.

• Accessing daily reports to identify patients hospitalized, discharged, and treated in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Provide follow up communication to the RN Navigators and care team
• Track provider outreach to patients discharged from the ED
• Provide assistance with care coordination, facilitate communication between patients, caregivers, and providers, help to address barriers to care, and promote optimal allocation of resources
• Provide information to patients and families regarding community resources, medication assistance, and other healthcare needs
• Provide outreach to patients as they transition through multiple healthcare settings
• Complete Transition of Care follow up for patients discharged from an inpatient setting
• Ensures patient/caregiver understanding of discharge instructions and completes medication reconciliation

• As ancillary MA primary responsibilities included drawing up and administering pediatric vaccines (including Covid-19), completing tests ordered by the physicians (Influenza, strep, Covid, A1C, glucose, urinalysis, etc)
• Rooming patients in a timely yet efficient manner while keeping the physician on schedule
• Assisting with procedures such as circumcisions, wart removal/ treatment (cryotherapy), and specimen collection
• Assisting patients with scheduling appointments, sending referrals, and providing information regarding community resources (WIC, Early Intervention services, Abuse and neglect services, Employment assistance, and Food assistance)

• Assisted office manager with screening, hiring, and interviewing clinical staff
• Trained all new staff on office protocol/ procedures, scheduling, and use of our electronic health record
• Contacted patients to review results per provider instructions and answered any questions
• Completed medication prior authorizations within 24-72 hours of receipt
• Refilled medication per office guidelines with physicians approval
• Answered incoming phone calls, scheduled appointments, and on occasion check in patients and collect payment
• Assisted with monthly staff meeting agendas
• Performed employee evaluations discreetly and confidentially
• Invited and accepted feedback from staff and patients to improve office workflow
