CAP Quarterback / Flow
- Maintains optimal processing levels in the CAP department by monitoring workload volume and ensuring alignment with daily production targets (typically ranging at a -5% - +5% threshold).
- Allocates labor resources efficiently by adjusting associate roles or laborsharing across floors and departments, (the amount of associates can range from 20 to 150)
- Serves as the communication hub for CAP, coordinating with other departments and Flow Leads regarding CPT (Critical Pull Time) orders, system disruptions, and staffing needs.
- Forecasts headcount and productivity based on pickable backlog(needs to remain over 0.05), current WIP, and tranship volumes to determine handling capacity and strategy.
AFM (Amnesty Floor Monitor) Quarterback
- Provides real-time feedback and coaching to 12 - 16 AFMs on performance metrics, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Monitors floor activity for proper use of PPE, adherence to safety procedures, and protocol for handling drive units, pods, and robotic stations.
- Tracks and resolves floor health issues using tools to assess pod gaps(less than 4%), disabled drive units (less than 2%), blocked paths, and floor obstructions.
- Coordinates floor health summaries, trouble tickets, and shift-end reports to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and departments.
Pick Process Guide
- Oversees daily operations of a designated floor area, ensuring up to 34 associates are properly staffed, equipped, and aware of safety protocols.
- Performs audits and delivers coaching to associates to enhance quality and productivity.
- Tracks floor metrics, reports attrition, and communicates performance feedback to associates.
Learning Ambassador
- Facilitated new hire onboarding and training on Amazon's safety, operations, and quality standards.
