First and foremost, I am a wife and mother of 6 boys. I have spent the past 25 years focusing on just that.
In being a Mother, a preschool teacher, and then a YMCA employee, I have developed excellent time management and organizational skills. I can handle just about any situation with grace and ease.
Since 2021, after 13 years of focusing solely on my family, I began working at the YMCA in both Alpharetta and in Cumming. I started in membership, splitting my time between two branches. At the front desk, you are not only the face of the YMCA, but also the go between for all departments. Duties included and are not limited to, answering the phones, greeting members with a smile, registering members for programs and classes, membership startup, solving IT issues, organizing, and fundraising to name a few.
I then transitioned upstairs to the wellness floor. I now work as an instructor and a wellness coach. I currently teach Parkinson’s boxing and Parkinson’s movement 3 days per week. I also fill in for instructors when they can’t make it to a class.
I believe honesty and integrity are two key moral principles that I possess. I strive to make others feel loved, welcome and important. I always do my part and take pride in anything and everything I set out to do.
