I manage the hardware distribution for the Vendor Managed Inventory on site at Schneider Electric-Smyrna, TN
I am responsible for the replenishment of hardware needs throughout the plant. I pick up the empty bins and fill them and put back. I also manage the vendor programs label database. Also keeping our company label records correct and bins correctly labeled when the correct rack location.
I order parts daily that are needed. When product arrives, I break the pallet down and distribute the hardware.
We have weekly zoom meetings between Schneider and Supply Tech to discuss any issues, needs or shortage issues.
- Coordinated closely with customer service representatives to address any shipping or delivery issues promptly, improving overall customer satisfaction rates.
- Established clear communication channels with sales teams to improve coordination between departments, resulting in smoother workflows throughout the organization.
