Summary

Throughout highschool, I was extremely involved in extracurriculars including our schools BELL AVR Team and FIRST Robotics Team. During my freshman year, a teacher introduced me to the BELL AVR Competition, and I worked with that teacher to find students to create a team. As we were starting from scratch, we had to put in tens of hours every week, and in the week leading up to the competition, I was at a meeting every day until very late, even staying until 1 AM the night before. I continued this trend throughout the rest of highschool, and soon added the Robotics Team to my schedule. During our competition season, we had a required 60 hours to attend events, yet during my 3 years on the team, I logged over 150 hours. Me and other dedicated students would attend meetings afterschool three days a week from 4-9 PM, and we would attend 10-6PM meetings every saturday, often staying later if needed. This past year, we had a major electrical issue 2 days before we left for competition, and a few members and I stayed in our lab until 2 AM to get our robot competition-ready.

I believe that these experiences show my extreme dedication, passion, and commitment to all of my previous involvements. Throughout my time on both teams, I spent countless hours on my work, often to a point of near-sleep deprivation. I always put in my all when dedicate myself to a project and people. This can also be shown in my work as an intern at Special Products & MFG Inc., where I was extremely dedicated to working hard, learning as much as possible, and benefitting the company as much as possible. Overall, I show extreme passion and dedication to every project I work on, and I believe that is my greatest strength and contribution.
