Over twenty years of experience in the aerospace industries high quality production includes cutting shaping and forming sheet metal parts using hand and power tools, shears, drills. For example I started with sheet metal (aluminum, steel, or econel) that I had to scribe, drilled, trim on bandsaw. Also worked with composite. Faced part and shape part with power tools like drills dotco, shears for smaller areas. the part sent out for finish process. then ready for installation on the program for instance if it was the 787 i would install parts by blueprint using the tools and supply to use. I would use rivets, h-locks, cherry rivets and to able to install these rivets use a rivet gun and a bucking bar. also if there was any holes to ream or drill. Also used different kind of sealants and silicone for installation. Also i was in charged on all torque boxes for the 787 was a challenge it was a starting program where is had to measure with a scale or caliper all holes for the distance and diameter of the hole for i can install the frame also working if the engineers and blueprints. used clecos clamps to hold the part for ready to install. Also did some polishing for lip nose with a grinder to make sure it was a soft polish. aldo did some handfinish in machine shop and that consist of using docto to cut down and alimenting any excess material.
