Upon being promoted, my responsibilities as a Medication Assistance remained the same. Here are added responsibilities I acquired upon my promotion:

• Supervisor of Medication room and Resident assistants
• Entering medications into the computer MAR Yardi/ECP
• Assembled patient charts
• Ordering medications from pharmacies
• Establishing patients with Doctors, PT, Hospices and other vendors
• Trained on both Slums evaluation and Patient assessments.

• Coordinated daily medicine schedules and administration to help clients address symptoms and enhance quality of life.
• Kept digital records of patient details, medications and other activities.
• Administered prescribed drugs to high-volume patient caseload.
• Collected urine specimens
• Communicated with patients families, all directors, hospices and primary doctors regarding changes to patients and medications

• Assisted residents with daily dental and mouth care, bath functions and hair care.
• Encouraged community atmosphere by implementing educational and social programs.
• Changed bed linens, dumped trash and smoothly handled maintenance issues to promote resident comfort.
• Monitored progress and documented patient health status changes to keep care team updated.

• Evaluated patients to identify and assist in wound care, behavioral concerns and medically relevant symptoms.
• Assisted with feeding and monitored intake to help patients achieve nutritional objectives.
• Obtained biological specimens for ordered tests and prepared for laboratory transport.
• Supported ambulation and physical therapy needs by conducting planned exercise routines.
• Monitored Vitals, assisted with ADL's and trained in mechanical lifts.
