Angie Casco-Acosta

I currently work at Quest Diagnostics as a lab assistant in the department of DBS (dried blood spot). I am in charge of punching filtered cards with the patients' dried blood and putting dried specimen punches in testing tubes. I am also in charge of answering emails and requesting specimens if needed. I am also trained to help other departments and train new hires.

I assisted patients with transportation to radiology and emergency room facilities. I also supported medical staff by moving patients to necessary equipment, guided new staff on safe patient transport protocols and hospital procedures.

Dealership associate who oversaw answering and transferring calls throughout the company. Also made follow up appointments with customers for the continuance of their auto purchase. This employment extended my skills with customer service as I individually had communication with each customer and their needs. Working for this company also gave me the opportunity to work in different departments. I helped the service department by answering calls and driving customers to their designated location.
