My name is Angie Martinez i am a third-year college student pursuing opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the sustainability field and develop the skills necessary to enter the workforce prepared and confident. I believe that education provides the foundation, while real-world experience strengthens and develops those skills into practical abilities. I am actively seeking internship opportunities where I can apply my knowledge of environmental research, data analysis, sustainability practices, and project management while continuing to learn from experienced professionals.
I am passionate about sustainability and believe meaningful progress comes from identifying problems and developing practical solutions that will create movement and positive change. My current experience in accounting has strengthened my analytical, computer, and Excel skills, while my environmental and scientific experiences have developed my ability to research, interpret complex information, and contribute effectively within team environments. I am eager to continue building my skills through hands-on experience and contribute to organizations working toward a more sustainable future.
Currently a third-year student, I have taken courses such as U.S. Environmental Policy, Energy Flow, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology of Biotic Resources, and Natural Resource Valuation and Economics. These courses have helped me develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and the various factors involved in creating effective and sustainable solutions.
