Aspiring mental health professional seeking admission to the School of Social Work to gain foundational knowledge, hands-on field experience, and mentorship from faculty, with the long-term goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Bringing diverse experience in client support, mental health outreach, student advising, and community advocacy, with a strong commitment to advancing social justice and making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families.

Mental Health Ambassador – African Communities Public Health Coalition [August 2025 – Present]  4–5 hrs/week

• Provide culturally competent mental health education to low income immigrant communities and local schools, teaching students about the importance of mental health, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Collaborate with community and institutional partners, including the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Public Library, USC, UCLA, and the California Department of Social Services, to promote mental health awareness and community engagement initiatives.

Volunteer – Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry, Chico State University [Sept 2019 – Mar 2020] 4 hrs/week

• Assisted students experiencing food insecurity by distributing nutritious, student-friendly food, hygiene, and kitchen items, while supporting sustainable and locally sourced initiatives through the University Farm’s Organic Vegetable Project.
• Coordinated food drives and donation events to increase resources available for underserved students.

Volunteer – Project UNIFY (Special Olympics) [ Jan 2019 – June 2019 ] 5 hrs/week

• Supported inclusive programs for students with disabilities, including autism and cerebral palsy, through sports, arts and crafts, and family-inclusive outings to promote engagement and social development.
• Fostered a culture of acceptance, broke down stereotypes, and encouraged positive peer relationships, strengthening inclusion and respect within the school community.
