Reading was a very big part of my life when I was growing up. It started as early as when I started to pronounce my very first words. My father believed in all educational systems and he encouraged all of his children to read as much as they can. But I don't think that any of them was, or is, as passionate about it as I was and still am. I started with beginner books, and as I grew, my ranges, and varieties changed with me. From mysteries, comic books, to the local newspaper, to teenage novels, to gun- slinging cowboy adventures, to magazines, to romance novels, to adult hardcovers, and then on to true crimes and stories about different cultures and lifestyles from all walks of life. I've read brilliantly written books, mediocre ones, and of course, some poorly written ones.
Reading should be able to transport you into a world totally different from your own. The images that the words create in your imagination should make you feel like the heroine, or the hero in the story.
I could go on and on, but, you did ask!
I'll never stop reading.
I have a couple of interests, but my main one is photography There is so much beauty around us and to actually capture it on a camera is amazing I like peoples' faces, unusual scenes, and spontaneous poses
