• Assist the headmaster in identifying areas for growth on campus and helping find workable solutions
• Coach the Senior High Quiz Bowl team starting in 2021, helping team win three 2A State Championships
• Routinely analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and adapt instruction accordingly

Teaching Assignments: 7th Grade Geography and 6th Grade World History

• Coordinated with other middle school teachers to coordinate units and keep abreast of individual student needs and progress
• Fostered parental involvement through regular communication with parents
• Planned, organized and led annual 7th grade trip to Washington DC
• As Student Council Advisor, I organized elections, and helped organize school dances, social outings, clothing drives, and spirit days
• Spear-headed reading program between the Kindergarten class and middle school scholars, a program that continues today

• Substituted in a variety of capacities, implementing teacher plans to ensure continuity of learning in the teacher's absence
• Substitute of choice among many teachers due to ability to engage scholars and manage behaviors

• Held year-long position as on-staff substitute for middle school where I implemented teacher lesson plans to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence

• Taught 7th grade math, pre-algebra, and exploratory Spanish as a long-term substitute
• Long term-substitute position led to district hiring me to teach in other capacities, including another quarter-long exploratory 7th grade Spanish class and an after school elementary school Spanish class

• Assisted students before school with copy writing for the school newspaper
