Currently am shadowing hospitalist in acute care setting .This hands-on experience allowed me to observe , gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges of the role. I was able to witness patient consultations, treatment planning, and collaboration with other healthcare team members. This shadowing experience provided me with a deeper understanding of the role of a Nurse Practitioner and helped me develop important clinical skills and knowledge that I can apply in my own practice

• Evaluated patients, recognized and addressed complications and coordinated treatment with other members of critical care team.
• Ensured compliance with regulatory agencies including Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Utilized computerized Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Coordinated discharge planning activities including arranging follow up appointments or referrals for additional services. Demonstrated leadership ability, working both independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Achieved departmental goals and objectives by instituting new processes and standards for in-patient care.

• Actively participated in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
