Forsyth Medical Center has 921 licensed beds providing emergency, surgical and specialized care for the Triad community. The facility is the largest in the Novant Health system.

• Charge Nurse/ Staff Team Lead of 35 bed unit with up to 14 nursing staff team members. Delegating, scheduling and providing guidance and support to ensure efficient safe patient care.

Whittaker Rehabilitation Facility was a 100-bed rehabilitation facility within Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. It was an in-patient rehabilitation facility providing skilled nursing care, physical therapy and occupational therapy for patients recovering from different extenuating medical conditions. This rehabilitation facility has changed names and moved to another location.

• As Charge Nurse/ Staff Team Lead, managed up to 10 nursing staff team members, delegating, mentoring and scheduling staff according to unit needs.
• Performed comprehensive assessments on admissions to determine the post-acute care patient's immediate needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop a customized mobility nursing care plan that promoted faster healing, helping the patient reach health goals that lead to a productive quality of life.
