The purpose of this research was to identify the ways in which feminism has and is improving the economic status of women in sports across the world, using lessons acquired from the course of Gender, environment and development studies. It was also highlighting the current feminists in the sports world making headway in the various sports and what the male counterparts can do to contribute to the movement.

The purpose of this creative research project is to understand the coping mechanisms of international students through narratives, giving then a platform to use their voices and bring their challenges to light while highlighting the various coping mechanisms that they have curated to maintain their identities and moral values while exploring a whole new world in a foreign country. This will also hopefully re-introduce the students to their own community and to the locals who will have a better understanding of different cultures in the Athens community.
