Clinical Preceptorship
During the Family Nurse Practitioner program through Chamberlain, I conducted my clinicals with Ken Beene, FNP-BC as my preceptor at Eastview Medical Clinic in Ramer, TN from May 2023 to March 2024. Eastview Medical Clinic is a primary care clinic that sees an array of patients where all age groups are welcome and many different health conditions are seen. I acted as the main provider regarding health history intake, patient physical examination, diagnosis, planning and treatment options. After conducting a client visit, I would consult with Ken about my findings and vocalize my recommendations. Ken then would provide adequate and corrective criticism to better my skills in seeing future patients.
