My drive for continued (nontraditional) education and work opportunities is fueled by my passion for improving the communities that helped me achieve my early life goals. Access to quality food, restoring damaged ecosystems, and involving the community in the process are the actions that I saw had direct positive impact. I continue to use my Human Ecology Degree in my everyday life as well as my professional life.
My college studies and research focused on environmental improvement, community building, ethical-agriculture/aquaculture practices. I had participated as well as lead a plethora of events and clubs that directly interacted with the college campus and Bar Harbor community.
I am an individual who possesses a versatile skill set that aid in successful completion of projects, solving existing issues, and communicating effectively with others.
