I ensured the smooth running of the clinic and assisted with EKGs, Holter monitor placements, and called Veterans to follow-up on labs, medication reconciliations, travel consults, hotel consults, DME consults, and I facilitated care to other VA’s or DGMC and various other necessary case management duties. I also met with Veterans and their families to address their concerns, assess their post-operative incision sites or procedure sites, and assessed and evaluated ongoing heart failure patients with the nurse practitioner or cardiologist supervising their care.
