Anna Pogorelova

Volunteer with 4+ years of experience serving in WYSO (Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras) and SWFSC (Southern Wisconsin Figure Skating Club). Passion for leadership and community building has led me to bring together many and help them build strong relationships with each other. My passion for my figure skating club has helped me bring together members as well as make new members feel welcome.

WYSO Connections:

6/01/21-current

In WYSO connections I help children in younger orchestras gain a sense of community and acceptance. I lead team building activities of sorts and make sure everyone engages with each other.

Southern Wisconsin figure skating club:

1/01/17- 6/03/23

I volunteer in my figure skating club by hosting learn to skate ice, being a runner in competitions, and monitoring concessions.

German Club: 

11/29/23- current 

I created and am the president of German club. I created this club in order to restore german culture throughout my high school. I create weekly agendas such as slides and host other events such as guest speekers and fundraising events. 

STEM club

09/05/23 -current

I paritipate in STEM club by being a senator. This includes attenting weekly board meeting, help create agendas for weekly meeting, and promote the club.

SWFSC - ( Southern Wisconsin Figure Skating Club ): 

1/01/17- 6/03/23

I participated in my figure skating club by coaching young children ages 3 and up. I also participated in my figure skating club by being a skater liason. This included pitching ideas to the rest of the board and creating and hosting events such as club ice shows and club field trips. 

Rocket Club: 

9/05/21-9/05/23

I participated in rocket club by working in teams to build basic rockets which then were used in state compititions. 

HOSA club - ( Health Occupations Students of America ): 

09/05/22-10/01/23

I participated in HOSA club by being an officer. This included attenting monthly board meetings, competing in state events, and helping to promote the club.
