Summary
Though I only have prior experience at one restaurant, I am a greatly dedicated worker, and a very quick and adequate learner. I'm very flexible, and I have no issues adapting to a fast-paced, changing workplace. With my volunteer background over the past five years, I have gained a great amount of experience in leadership and communication skills, as well as customer service, and being a consistent and active worker. I have no problems ensuring my workplace stays entirely professional, and both working and getting along with others. Above all, my main interest is to provide the necessary service to those I'm working for. Due to these qualities, I believe I would be a great addition to any workplace!

- As a hostess, I have extensive experience cleaning restaurant tables, kitchens, and bathrooms. I am excellent at communication when engaging with customers and taking drink orders. I have experience working with money counting, as well as working the cash register everyday. I have also worked with taking and distributing online food orders, large and small. I have helped with the upkeep of the restaurant, and I also made sure that after every shift I worked, it was cleaned and all necessities were restocked. During my time working at Sister Century House restaurant, I have learned a great amount of information surrounding customer service, quick problem solving, and working with a team to ensure everything is efficient in the workplace!

- During my time at Northwest High School, I was extremely involved in the Ohio Rotary Club's Interact Club due to my love for service and sustainability, ultimately helping me earn over 400 service hours throughout high school. During my freshman and sophomore years, I was a big advocate for service and showed up to every volunteer event I was able to attend. This consistency landed me a position as the Interact volunteer coordinator during my junior year of high school. As the volunteer coordinator, I was able to advocate for volunteer work within the student body at a higher level. I created flyers and posters, and coordinated clothing drives with homeless shelters in the area. A sock drive that I collaborated on with the shelter, Refuge of Hope, during the winter of 2022 was able to pull in over 1,000 pairs of socks from the entire school district. At the end of my junior year, I was offered a huge opportunity to interview to travel out of the country with the Student Diplomacy Corps to learn about leadership qualities, cultural dynamics, and respect due to my efforts in Interact during canal cleanups in town, consistently volunteering at our local senior center, and facilitating drives and other service events. I was accepted to the program and traveled to Baja California for a month during the summer of 2023. When I returned to school in August of 2023, I was informed that I would be the year's Interact Club President. I used my experience from past years in high school, as well as from student diplomacy, to influence the student body to be more open and supportive of service. I had a very successful year as president, and I earned two scholarships from my hard work and dedication. The first scholarship was an interact-based program called Be the Example, and the second was given to me by the Northwest Stark Senior Citizens Center for all my efforts to volunteer at their dinners and events, as well as maintaining friendships with the senior citizens. This time in interact gave me the necessary knowledge and training to thrive and be flexible in new and changing environments, as well as being a dedicated worker, no matter what is thrown my way.
