Thesis

Master's Final Project for Southern University at New Orleans Graduate Program.

Mexican Folk Art: The Threads of Heritage

Art show and Presentation: March 11, 2026, with the New Orleans Museum of Art Teen Art Council

My master's project focuses on Mexican Folk art and the rich heritage behind it. The history behind Mexican Folk art spans through the centuries, educating and prospering through the artists who work with it. My own journey through this project has allowed me to overcome the hardships of a young Mexican American who does not know their own heritage. My hope for this project is to teach people about Mexican Folk art and to learn their own heritage in the process.
