Non-Profit Volunteer

I have always been fond of giving back to the community. My earliest years of volunteering started back in middle school. I started volunteering with my church organization at nursing homes, properties grounds keeping, church bake sales, and reading to the elderly. I now have been using United Way's Volunteer Center to connect me to other great opportunities, such as conducting vision screenings with Kids Vision For Life at a middle school in a low-income community. I have also acted as an usher for kids and teachers into and out of Metro Theater Company to watch the play "Seedfolk", which I also got to enjoy. I soon want to expand my work with animals in need.
