Served as Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from 2023 to 2024. Currently Serving as Vice President of Chapter Relations and Standards. Participated in various events hosted by AXO such as philanthropy, fundraising, networking, and social events.

In this organization, I network with fellow geographers and expand my knowledge of my profession. Through community service events and social gatherings.

In this organization, I work with the university to find ways to be more sustainable and reduce our carbon footprint at Sam Houston State. We do this by having events, meetings with university officials, and community service opportunities.

In this course, I spent two weeks in Hilo, Hawaii. I learned about the sustainability mannerism in Hawaii. I spent my time giving back to the island, hiking, educating myself culturally, and studied various ways of sustainability.

As Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, I attended a three-day conference at College Station with the other members of our E-board to learn about professional leadership development. We accomplished this through lectures, breakout groups, and seminars.

To improve my leadership abilities in Student Government, I went to a seminar in Frisco, Texas. Throughout the three-day conference, I networked with other Texas colleges and learned more about political professionalism.
