I am an Advanced EMT with a BS in Biomedical Sciences and a diverse background in emergency medicine. At Wentworth Douglas Hospital, I assisted in medical procedures and general patient care alongside coworkers of varying certifications, which requires strong critical thinking and effective communication. I also served in a leadership position at McGregor Memorial EMS, where I coordinated with staff to improve on training procedures, volunteers' experience, and interdepartmental relations as well as participating in multiple committees and state-funded initiatives. I have acted as a teacher, a mentor, and an advocate for my peers across my various roles in healthcare. I'm looking to build on my experiences in the medical field through my graduate program in public health at Columbia University, and I ultimately intend to go on to medical school to work as a primary care provider for underserved populations.
