eBay Inc. is a global e-commerce corporation that connects millions of buyers and sellers (mainly C2C and B2C) sales around the world. I am working as an iOS developer to improve the UX for buyer & seller for view item page. When a user clicks on any item, the view item page is shown and user can check out the item, place the bid, make an offer or add the item to cart & watchlist.

Responsibilities:

• Enhancing customer experience on View Item page on eBay iOS App.
• Handling Agile Lead responsibilities (running daily stand up, grooming, planning and retros; assigning bugs to team, etc)
• Working closely with business team & product owner to identify great features & interface improvements.
• Sort out contract for experience service to have dynamic page template and page layout driven by service.
• TDD, pair programming, code reviews & high focus on tests to maintain high-quality code (and striving to achieve as much code coverage as possible)
• Writing UI automation test to achieve good code coverage.
• Delivering a great user experience for view item page (and thus improving the look & feel of entire eBay app)
• Collaborating with different teams (backend service, desktop app, mobile web) and domains (Payments, Selling, Search, Customer Connection, My eBay, Architecture/Foundation and Components domains) to deliver great end product to customers.
• Helping with iOS interviews for hiring on View Item domain.
• Working with QE to help fix and close P1/P2 bugs before it goes OOSLA.
• Supporting multiple languages (l10n) and voice-over (a11y) on view item page.
• Creating business component to be used across domains.
• Acting as DCS admins and helping team out with AB tests setup and EP DoD.

Worked on the TD US Self Service and TD Decoupled Bill Pay projects, adding features and redesigning the bill pay UI. Later worked on TD US NGP app which is a complete revamp of the TD Retails and TD small business app (both were available in app store since 2 years). This universal app includes various new features like touch id login, Omni dial, MRDC for check capturing, & OTP setup for added security.

Responsibilities:

• Single point of contact for client for offshore work.
• Involved in discussion with Client for requirement gathering and clarification.
• Ensuring smooth feature delivery and following best practices.
• Delegating work to offshore team
• Worked closely with cross functional team of testers and developers.
• Single point of contact for defects raised by QA on iOS platform.
• Supported production and deployment phase of application.

• During first 3 years, I worked on various TCS internal projects/PoC (Sales Force Mobile, Field Service Automation) and clients (Vanguard, Rite Aid, Deutsche Bank) to add support for new features and studying feasibility/requirements to get project.
• The iPhone/iPad (Universal) application for Vanguard Group enabled investors or vanguard customers to manage and customize their portfolio and to analyze how market is currently doing. Also it displays investment in different market sectors in different groups of account in form of customized bar graphs and pie charts. Application was developed in Onsite - Offshore model where programmers in both ends are carrying out development.
