A life-time Angeleno, Anthea Raymond has served on numerous boards and commissions during her careers in academia, journalism, and the outdoors. Most relevant here, she was an LA County Beach Commissioner for nearly a decade (appointed by Sheila Kuehl) and served on the initial Technical Advisory Committee to the Taylor Yard project (now 100-Acre Partnership).   • Coordinate health emergency training for 80 bike patrollers in the Santa Monica Mountains under jurisdiction of three park agencies

  • Created new structure to ensure patrollers received training when wildfires and COVID interrupted normal operations
