- Assist with basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, feeding, mobility, and comfort measures under RN supervision

- Rotate through assigned units such as Medical-Surgical, ICU, ER, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, OR/PACU, and Psychiatry. Typical rotation: 4-8 weeks per unit

- Perform patient assessments, document findings in EMR systems like Epic or Cerner, and report changes to supervising

- Observe and assist with medication prep and administration per facility policy. May administer with direct RN oversight if state board permits

- Practice clinical skills including IV insertion, wound care, catheterization, NG tubes, and specimen collection with preceptor guidance
