Independent Field Property Claims Adjuster Statefarm (Proximity)

• Investigates, determines coverage of loss and adjusts all elements of Property Loss claims
• Creates and manages timely, clear and accurate documentation and work flow throughout the claim in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures
• Conducts inspections of loss sites, writes estimates for dwelling repairs and issues payment to policyholders where possible
• Work and coordinate with numbers of vendor services such as contractors, emergency, repair, cleaning services, and various replacement services.

• Investigates, determines coverage of loss and adjusts all elements of Auto claims
• Create communication with customer, book appointment for inspection of vehicles to investigate damages
• Create rapport with customer for further communication on damages, policy, and payments
• Use estimating software to establish indemnity values of claimed damages
• Review documents to develop damage estimates
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
• Identifies exposures and establishes reserves on assigned claim files
• And maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing company provided industry best education
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Reduced the number of fraudulent claims by implementing advanced investigative techniques and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.

Independent Adjuster (AWC Statefarm)

• Review initial loss assignment, applicable coverage, and formulate a game plan for adjusting loss
• Contact and/or take statements from insured's
• Evaluate claim facts in tandem with the applicable coverage's and jurisdictional tort laws in order to make an assessment of the liability of all involved parties
• Evaluate damages to ascertain amounts payable (if any) to involved parties
• Obtain police reports, medical bills, Medicare reporting forms, releases, etc
• Determine if appraised vehicles are a total loss and if so, handle the loss to conclusion
• Identify fraud indicators and notify SIU Department as appropriate
• Evaluate all information received to determine how claim(s) should best be resolved
• Negotiate with policyholders, claimants or their attorneys to attempt to settle all car damage and bodily injury claims
• Document all activities in the claims system and put all electronic documentation in the claims files.

Independent Adjuster (CAT Total Loss Statefarm)

• Review initial loss assignment, applicable coverage, and formulate a game plan for adjusting loss.

• Contact and/or take statements from insured’s

• Evaluate claim facts in tandem with the applicable coverage’s and jurisdictional tort laws in order to make an assessment of the liability of all involved parties.

• Evaluate damages to ascertain amounts payable (if any) to involved parties.

• Obtain police reports, medical bills, Medicare reporting forms, releases, etc.

• Determine if appraised vehicles are a total loss and if so, handle the loss to conclusion.

• Identify fraud indicators and notify SIU Department as appropriate.
