Adept at fostering strong relationships with homeowners while ensuring project completion within budget and deadlines. Senior level of knowledge for program/insurance estimating standards, demonstrating commitment to quality.
Here at ICON Restoration I was tasked with completing 4-5 Inspections on average a week. Inspections consist of both exterior and interior property damage claims The inspections were sent over through various programs such as Alacrity, Sedgwick, And Contractor Connection. While on-site I thoroughly document all aspects of the insurance claim with detailed photos and a general sketch that includes measurements of all affected structure. I generally will try to collect a work authorization as to secure the work/claim with the Homeowner. Once I return to the office I will write an accurate estimate through either Xactimate or Symbility and upload said estimate to the insurance company and program for review
Here i was responsible for managing 15-20 reconstruction claims at any given time. Projects would be passed off to me after an estimator had an approved estimate through an insurance company or program. I was responsible for material selections with homeowners, scheduling contractors through a pre-approved vendors list, and maintaining project completion deadlines while staying within necessary budgets. In my spare time i would also help write water Mitigation estimate to help out the Mitigation Department. My reconstruction projects Were anywhere from $5,000-$120,000.
Here I was tasked with running a Mitigation crew of around 5 guys. I was tasked with inspecting all new Mitigation claims, and writing a estimate to accurately reflect the work preformed. I would typically write $1500-$20,000 residential mitigation estimates. Seldom we would take on commercial losses.
Here i was responsible for preforming a variety of work ranging from mitigation to some reconstruction. An average mitigation would consist of light to heavy demolition, extraction of water if needed, setting drying equipment to IICRC standard, and monitoring the loss until dry. I would also take on small to medium sized mold remediations. My day would consist of preparing our truck for the schedule that day, preforming work, and cleaning the truck and shop before leaving for the day. It is here that i was made certified with the IICRC for both my WRT and ASD certifications through the in-house BELFOR drying acedemy
IICRC Advanced Structural Drying Certification
IICRC Basic WRT Certification
