Summary

In my time as the Aquatics Director, at the Roxborough Ymca, I’ve been named head of Aquatics, and have had the fantastic chance day to day to work and interact with so many amazing people from many different worlds, I've been given multiple opportunities to acquire more understanding, and skills to help in the various areas of Facility operations. Learning the coaching and development strategies I should use for my teams, to redirect actions and encourage staff to grow. To program administration and collaborating with Membership in ensuring those coming to register in our programs have an easy time doing so. To the Physical Pool, becoming a Certified Pool Operator, and the everyday effort that Aquatics and Facilities collaboratively puts forth to maintain compliance, safety, and cleanliness. Working Day by Day, and Month after Month to ensure that the Department is ready to be Audited at any moment, and that the Monthly Audit is complete. Each opportunity I’ve been given, has been another chance to expand my skillset, and offer me a way to help others.
