A short internship style experience where i was offered the opportunity by the artistic director of the theater to explore and get some first hand experience as to the job requirements of an assistant director.

This was not a paid position and i was not formally hired in any capacity

However I did gain experience in assistant directing and helping to manage and organize a group of people

I was tasked with communicating rehearsal times and contacting individual cast members relaying information from the director and to the director to help organize rehearsals.

I also took notes for staging and actively participated in the show.

This lasted the duration of the show.
