- To name a few skills ER Techs perform at GW are IV placement, Blood Draws, Ultrasound IV Placement , Arterial Blood Gas Draws (ABG's) , Splinting(and working with Ortho Surgery when needed for advanced ortho injuries), wound care, EKG's, Foley Catheter placement and management, and Trauma care.
