Anthony Solorzano

Arrived for 2023 Pre-season and impressed enough to earn a spot within the squad. Being my first professional experience, I worked closely with teammates and coaches, who had pro and national team experience, and began getting accustomed to the pro game and lifestyle. Trained as a winger and midfielder with the club, developing my attacking, ball control, and play making skills against some of the best players in the country at the time five to six days a week. Known as "one of the hardest working players on and off the field" during my time at the club.

Played and trained with the team for the entire 2022 USL 2 (U.S. Division 4) season. He played 412 minutes and appeared in 10 of his 16 games. Played most of his minutes at the outside back position, but also trained a lot on the wing, right and left. I grew a lot with coach Gilberto Baez and understood the "professional" style of play better. He also helped me to focus on individual training, to take care of my body and to be able to understand and work on the small aspects of the game that are often overlooked.

He played an important role in the club's inaugural season. Played in every game of the 21-22 season and helped the club reach the league final. Greatly developed my close-range IQ, dribbling efficiency and quickness in the inside game. I kept my commitment to the team despite injuries and improved as the season progressed.

Impressed at tryouts and earned playing minutes throughout the club's 2021 campaign (US Division 5).

Trained and competed with many top professional, national and semi-professional players. I helped FC Inter Atlantic not only win a league trophy, but also a regional trophy. I saw my minutes through the winger and fullback position. It helped me focus and develop my game.

Committed in 2019, instantly was an asset in the playoff race in my first year. I played outside and winger for the entire 2019 season and was key in defense and lack of goals conceded. The second year, 2020, I moved to the winger position and showed great offensive, technical and creative effort on the wing. I led the attack and gained hunger and a sense of not letting anything take me out of the game mentally or physically.
