Handyman
3 Months- Taking time to make sure the job is done correctly with safety is my first step.
- Improved home aesthetics by fixing doors, windows, and siding.
- Replace ceiling fans and lights along with light switches and outlets.
- Some small electrical work like running wire to new outlets and switches.
- At the end of every day the clean up starts the end of the day removing any and all trash or debris.
- Paperwork is the last step before heading out. Rather than 90 minutes or 8 hours the amount is charged along with any and all material that has been purchased by the workers.
Utility Porter
1 Year 1 Month- Before the day starts we locate where everyone is working and gather all the equipment to do the job.
- Rather working on that main floor or up in a lift to clean we make sure every team member is safely along with all guests.
- If we are working on the floors either the T300, T500, or the T600 will need to be checked for old attachments that need to be changed. Then the machine is filled with the appropriate cleaning solution.
- If we are deep cleaning the bathrooms we get the C3 machine and make sure the cleaning solutions are full. We clean from top to bottom in every bathroom that is on the list for that day.
- When cleaning the vents and air duct we get the lift with the help of a team member we drive to the location that we will be working on. When we arrive at the work lotape we set up a barrier using caution tape and cones around the machine.
- Once a month we deep clean all of the machines that we use.
Road Construction Laborer
2 Years 4 Months- Led a team of professionals to achieve project goals. road construction laborer our number one goal is safety for all drivers, pedestrians and workers.
- Our crews gather the material to get the job done without delay.
- From heating old asphalt and reforming the road to removing the old and replacing it with new we work like a well oiled machine everyone is on the same page.
- When working in driveways or parking lots we clean the asphalt by removing any and all grass, weeds, dirt and rocks.
- If cracks need to be filled in we heat rubber and when the material is at the right temperature we use the wand to place the hot rubber into the cracks.
- Whether cracks or not we end with seal coat. It's a coating that protects the asphalt from the weather and makes it last longer.
- We then take pictures and fill out the paperwork at the end of every job.
Driver, Cook, Shift Maneger
1 Year 6 Months- Performed daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it was safe for deliveries.
- Double check every item on the list to make sure all items are accounted for.
- Follow all road laws for the safety of other drivers and myself.
- At the end of the day wash dishes and put them up to dry.
- Read the screen to make sure that the correct toppings and all sides are made the way the customer asks them to be made. place the food into the oven so that it is cooked at the right temperature.
- Carefully remove the food from the oven and place it on the cutting board and place the pan into the dirty area for the cleaners to pick up.
- Make even cuts the way the customer asks for.
- If it's for takeout or delivery the items get placed on a shelf to be grabbed by the next driver in line.
- If it is dine in the items get placed on a different shelf and the table number or the waiter is called to come get the food.
- As the shift manager we come in before everyone else to take notes and check for any call ins.
- The next step is starting up the computer that also starts the system.
- Set up the tills by counting the amount of money that needs to be in the till at the start of the day.
- Take a walk into the freezer and cooler and dry area to fill out the checklist.
- When it is time to open unlock the public doors and turn the open sign on.
- As the day progresses we help with making the food to cutting, working tables, cleaning dishes and setting new guests that have arrived.
- At the end of the shift the night paperwork and all money are counted at least three times.
- Before leaving the restaurant is checked to make sure everything is clean and taken care of. If anything is not done the shift manager doesn't leave until they have completed everything.
- Head straight to the back to drop off the money made for the night.
Stoker & Back Room Worker
6 Months- Collected products for shelving that need to be placed on the shelf's.
- Take the products to the location they need to be stocked.
- Carefully open the product shipping boxes and slide the older product to the front and place the new behind it.
- Remove all items that do not belong in that area and place it into a shopping cart.
- When everything is stocked take the shopping cart with the odd items and put them where they need to be.
- If there are any extra items that can't fit onto the shelf's take them to the back and place them on the appropriate shelf's.
- Fill out the item list after all items have been placed in their designated area and take the list to the supervisor.
- When trucks come in remove the items from the truck and place them out of the way so they can be safely moved later.
- Take all trash and put it into the compactor.
- When the compactor is full carefully open and place binding wires around the bale to secure the bale.
- Stack all skids no more than ten high.
- Get the HI-LO and move the stacks of skids to the trailer or to the skid area out back or the store.
- Using a HI-LO move any bales from the building to the bale trailer or to the bale location outside of the store.
Line Worker
1 Year 11 Months- Rather than working on the box or bag line we get our bags or our liners.
- Check the apples for any and all defects and remove them from the line.
- Once the line for the box is full it is placed into the box and when the back is full it is placed on a conveyor belt.
- When all boxes are filled properly they are then placed on another conveyor belt that takes them to the shipping area.
- The boxes are then placed onto the correct skids and a plastic wrap is placed around the boxes to keep them from falling over.
- The HI-LO operator then removes them either to the truck for shipping or to the warehouse for storage.
Line Worker
3 Months- Transported products to the production line each morning.
- Make sure all paperwork and products have the correct information.
- Front of the line opens the skids of product and starts placing the product on the lines.
- Middle sends the product into the display boxes and sends it down the line.
- End of the line places the display with the product onto the new skid in the proper order and takes it to the loading area.
Sand Blaster and Metal Fabricator
2 Years 1 Month- Gather all the items that need to be completed for the day including the paperwork for each item.
- Carefully place the items into either the sandblasting cabinet or the sand blasting room depending on the size of the item.
- When working in the cabinet place your hands into the gloves for the machine and grab the hose securely; step on the pedal and start removing the rust and paint from the items.
- When done check the parts and place them on a skid in a safe area.
- Fill out the paperwork return it to the boss and continue the day until everything is completed.
- In the room you must set up your sand buckets so you can have enough material to complete the job.
- Place the item into both and close the door. Grab your hose turn on the machine and start removing the rust and paint.
- Talk to the man working the welder to see what size machine he needs to be cut.
- Gather all paperwork for the machines and metal for each machine.
- Measure all metal to the appropriate size; make correct angle cuts safely.
- Place each metal piece for the correct machine on their skids that are in a no-trip location.
Cashier and Stocker
2 Years 8 Months- Operated cash register accurately, processing cash, card, and electronic payments.
- Scanned merchandise efficiently, ensuring correct pricing and smooth checkout flow.
- Greeted customers professionally, answered pricing questions, and resolved checkout concerns.
- Balanced cash drawer, reconciling transactions and reporting discrepancies promptly.
