It is my hearts desire for all people to know who the Lord has created them to be, and what it is that He has for them to do (Eph. 2:10). I believe this is at the heart of discipleship. Each person has their own unique path in discipleship, requiring different resources and practices to help them grow and mature into their likeness of Christ. I'm convinced the practices of Jesus are essential in this maturation process as well dealing with shame and the lies we believe. One on one meetings, small group settings, and Life Groups should also have this in mind. It is not my desire to micro-manage Life Groups, but rather, to come alongside and help equip with appropriate resources and guide these groups for this greater goal. I am passionate about Discipleship and would love to create a process in our Church where 6-8 week classes are offered, at least bi-annually, that teach and train individuals in this process. (2 Tim. 2:2)

Another purpose of discipleship is to raise up leaders, volunteers, givers, and "goers" who understand who they are and how they function in God's Kingdom for His glory and not their own. Be this serving in the kid's wing, leading a Life Group, teaching a Sunday School class, or going on a missions trip, true disciples give generously of their time, talents and treasure for Kingdom work. (John 15:8)
