  • Responsible for day to day network changes including stateful firewall, web content filtering, and wireless modifications. Changes are made to keep compliant with CIPA laws, MA General Laws, and to maintain peak performance on the robust 802.11ac wireless network.
  • Oversaw deployment of 1,000 wireless access points. This deployment needed to remain invisible to end users, and the entire installation and configuration of the new infrastructure resulted in no down time for our clients.
  • Oversaw a network spanning 27 buildings with robust fiber backbone, two data centers, and high availability services for over 16,000 end users. This network experienced no significant downtime of any critical service during my employment.
  • Provide unparalleled support to end users and level 1 & 2 technicians
  • Successfully prepared for and supported a flawless MCAS online testing semester for grades 3-8 during 2016-17 school year

  • Acted as tier 2 support for all staff issues including application, hardware, and knowledge based problems. Support took place in 27 locations, and served over 16,000 end users.
  • Created training materials and FAQs for common issues. These materials became the basis for a full knowledge base searchable via web interface for users.

  • Provided a very high level of customer service, and was always willing to assist other technicians in order to maintain peak operating efficiency for the department.
  • Ensured inventory integrity for over 8,000 end devices, and reported on this inventory to my supervisor in order to help make decisions about device replacement/useful life. Instituted tracking of purchases and purchase orders, to show ROI on purchased devices.
