Dear SEL Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply to the 'Associate Quality Engineer' opening since the job description fits well with some of my experience. I have worked in manufacturing for ten years now, and rapidly moved ahead into quality control in analytical laboratories testing raw, in-process and finished products. I've heard excellent things about SEL and how the company takes pride in taking care of their employees and helps develop their skills for career advancement from within, and that is very appealing to me.
Even though this would be an entire new industry for me to get into, for this position I offer hands on experience of instrumental analysis, proficient in interpretation of scientific data, excellent problem-solving skills and a good ability to work independently on time sensitive projects and routine tasks. I am someone who learns new procedures fast, a self-starter, and work excellent in a team environment. Certainly, I will meet your expectations if given the chance.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
