ANTONIO EDUARDO MARQUEZ SANTOS

Senior Mechanical Engineer with about 30 years of experience at the Simon Bolivar Hydroelectric Power Plant in Guri, Venezuela. Initially working for CVG Electrification of the Caroni (EDELCA), after 2010 it merged with other companies and became the Electric Corporation of Venezuela (CORPOELEC).
As a supervisor and manager with about 30 years of experience, can guarantee that the operations and activities of the program comply with legal guidelines and internal policies. I obtained experience in Hydropower Generation in all aspects, such as the Operation and Maintenance of Generating Units of up to 770 MW and their Auxiliary Systems, experience in preparing technical specifications for the Rehabilitation and Modernization of Turbines, Generators, Governors, Intake Gates, and others mechanical auxiliary systems, technical evaluations of the offers, review of the manufacturer's Engineering, Model Acceptance and Prototype tests for Hydraulic Turbines, with proven and constant professional growth and excellent results demonstrated in the different evaluations that were made to me. Experience in evaluation and diagnostic tests, assembly and commissioning tests, Experience in technical support, and on-site measurements. Experience in new projects, as well as in Rehabilitations and Modernizations. During my work experience, I had the opportunity to coordinate youth sports activities and work with the diversity of various cultures organizing family sports activities, and donations in the different communities around the Simon Bolivar dam.
