I am a undergraduate student at the University of Michigan. I am studying neuroscience with the intent of going to medical school. I have a very strong passion for science and love to be involved in any type of experimentation. With four years of competing in science based competitions, I have learned to design and conduct an experiment. Along with this I have learned to present research and the analysis that follows.
I competed in the the Flint Regional Science Fair for 4 years. In this competition I created projects to address different environmental and biological issues. I created and carried experiments such as "Increased Pesticide Use Leads To Higher Infant Mortality Rates" in which I aimed to reduce the harmful impacts of commonly used pesticides on human and aquatic life.
Through this I learned many things such as:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
