Background : AWS Resource Explorer is a managed capability that simplifies the search and discovery of your AWS resources across AWS Regions. AWS customers can search and discover their resources across their entire AWS footprint using structured/unstructured queries with resource meta-data such as names, tags and IDs. Launched in Nov 2022.

Responsibilities :

• Launched AWS Resource Explorer in Nov 2022 from inception to delivery at Internet scale.
• Led data plane engineering team as an engineering manager, comprising of 6 engineers.
• Architected service data plane to ingest resource data from various AWS services (Tagging, CloudTrail and Resource sharing service) for in region and across region use cases. Led design, implementation and delivery of project.
• Designed cellular framework to run service in multiple cells in a region to reduce blast radius. Led development and delivery of project.
• Oversee provisioning of service infrastructure in 17 AWS classic and 2 opt-in regions end to end. Led delivery of project.

Oracle Data Cloud : Provides a cloud-based data management platform for marketing. It enables marketers to acquire, centralize, interpret, and activate data across multiple channels, enhancing the customer experience and maximizing the return on marketing spend.

AddThis: It's a content sharing platform and provide tools that make it easier to share content across the social web, and provides publishers with increased traffic and in-depth analytics.

Responsibilities : Led the migration of AddThis platform from on-premises data center to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This was accomplished in multiple phases and consisted of following steps:

• Deprecation of features (dependencies to Chargify billing system) and microservices (AB Test service) which were resource intensive and had very low usage.
• Refactored logic and upgraded library versions of frontend (React) and backend (Dropwizard) applications to be compliant with Oracle's Corporate Security Solution Assurance Process (CSSAP).
• Integration with OCI Vault to protect application secrets and sensitive data.
• Containerization of applications using base Oracle Data Cloud Docker images.
• Orchestration of containerized applications using OCI Kubernetes cluster.
• Application Telemetry with Prometheus Monitoring.
• Visualization and analysis of application metrics using Grafana dashboards.
• Alerting system via Prometheus Alertmanager and integration with PagerDuty/Slack to receive alerts.

Product Line : Oracle Eloqua's SalesTools

Oracle Eloqua's Sales Tools : Extends Eloqua's functionality to support the Sales effort, like Eloqua supports the Marketing effort. Oracle Eloqua's Sales Tools suite includes responsive apps (Profiler and Engage) and chrome extension (Oracle Eloqua Sales Tools for Chrome). Engage helps Sales create consistent, on-brand emails. Profiler provides an at-a-glance summary of each contact's activities over the last months. Oracle Eloqua Sales Tools for Chrome is an extension which allows you to leverage Profiler and Engage features in an easy to access pop-up in your Chrome browser.

Responsibilities :

• Developed SalesTools portfolio apps on Galactus (multi-tenant Eloqua integration platform).
• Designed User Interface for applications using Flux (Actions, Dispatcher, Stores) and ReactJS framework.
• Implemented RESTful web services to communicate with Eloqua using JAX-RS.
• Developed application components using Spring Core, Spring JDBC, , Spring ORM and Spring MVC.
• Designed and implemented persistence layer using Hibernate/Oracle Database.
• Developed and published Chrome Extension for SalesTools (Oracle Eloqua Sales Tools for Chrome) (Winner - Oracle Marketing Cloud Hackathon 2016).

Project : Clinical Trials Reporting Program (CTRP)

A web-based application that provides the capability for registering cancer clinical trials, reporting trial accrual information, creating and managing protocol abstraction and curating person, organization, and correlation data.

Responsibilities :

• Implemented nightly job to automate synchronization of CTRP trial registration data with ClinicalTrials.gov data.
• Designed new features such as capability to associate multiple alternate titles to clinical trial so that trial can be searched using alternate titles for case where original title is misspelled.

Product Line : BMC Bladelogic Network Automation (BNA)

Automates the configuration, change and compliance management of network devices.

Responsibilities :

• Designed and implemented Predefined Job feature - Re-usable component that includes pre-defined actions to be executed for common and repeatable tasks.
• Implemented External Script feature - Provisions capability to run external programs such as scripts as actions in BNA jobs.
• Designed Remediate endpoint by VLAN feature - New isolation level to quarantine problematic end point by changing VLAN membership of associated switch port.
• Integration with BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management (Infrastructure as service cloud solution). Implemented SOAP based web services for management of pods, network containers, container oriented addressing, physical/virtual NIC, firewall rules and load balancer pools.
• Ownership of BNA product installer module.
• Migrated BNA product installer from vendor specific packaging (InstallAnywhere/InstallShield) to BMC in house packaging for licensing purposes.
• Added capabilities to encrypt passwords and zip log files in Maintenance Tool (post install utility tool).
