Youth care workers provide direct supervision to children ages 13 to 17 who have been placed
in a temporary shelter by ORR. Youth care workers accompany children during most aspects
of the shelter's daily life and involve them in a culturally sensitive way to ensure a
comfortable environment. Youth care workers also document and report any item as
provided by ORR policies and procedures.
