- I started my career at Delphi Steering (now called Nexteer Automotive) as a co-op student while attending Delta College. I was later hired as a contract employee, and finally as a direct salary employee. I maintained many roles during my eight years there, from basic office duties all the way to advanced financial analysis. I was the lead financial analyst on the team to adjust the Deferred Revenue and Intangible Asset accounts during the dual reporting period, prior to fully converting to an IFRS accounting system. During this time, I was required to go through external audits on a quarterly basis to ensure accurate calculations. During that time, we passed all audits successfully.
- I also led multiple projects while at Nexteer to streamline business processes and improve efficiency. I completed Six Sigma Green Belt training while employed there as well.
