I am a Head Teacher at Fauntleroy Children’s Center in 4-5’s Kindergarten Readiness Program. I am a passionate Teacher that believes in the importance of Early Education that molding young minds in the excitement of learning. I have over 15 years of experience as a Teacher; from a personal tutor, building my own cirrculium for a non-profit art program to currently Head Teacher. I come from a long line of teachers and head principals that I can say confidently that it is my calling. To create a learning environment for all types of learning styles. I am looking for a strong team to grow, learn, develop and to continue my purpose as a an Early Child Educator.

  • I build a year-round Curriculum.
  • I have developed a full Kindergarten Readiness program.
  • I Teach Literacy, Writing, Spelling, and STEM all while we play.
  • I start with a full assessment week that's a game called 'Getting Our Ducks in a Row' with 102 rubber ducks. We begin the year by working our way through 2 letters of the Alphabet and learning to spell, write and sound out as well as count 5 Numbers at a time. By the end of the year, we are able to count to 100, read, Tell Time, Count Money, Life Cycles and Development, Community Helpers "Everyday Heroes," Maps, Our Globe, Space, How Things Grow and so much more.
  • In my Curriculum, we build our own Farms, Pumpkin Patch, Solar System , a 4-foot-high cardboard house tturns into a Farm, a Gingerbread House, and Greenhouse throughout the year.
  • Each week has a banner theme, all personally created by me to plant seeds of learning in literacy, STEM, and a curiosity for knowledge.
  • My teaching style is immersive and engaging to reach all learning styles. Where we turn our whole classroom into a Pond, Farm House, Election Booth, Doctors Office, Courthouse, Open Road, Winter Wonderland, Airplane, Taste Around the World, Our Solar System, Space Shuttle, Milky Way Galaxy, The World of Bugs, and Our Ocean.
  • I document Assessments for each student, Accidents, and Student Sick Leave, Parents Teacher Conferences, Daily Reports with photos, Portfolios for each student, Weekly Curriculum Plans, Event Sign-Up Sheets, Classroom Wishlist, Templates for each weekly projects for my entire classroom.
  • I organize and coordinate Parent-Teacher Conferences, Parties, Water Field Day, Leap Frog Obstacle Courses, Educational movie days, Field Trips, Parades, School Wide Dress-Up Weeks, Scavenger Hunts, Science Projects, and Graduation Performances for a full calendar year of activities.

  • I managed and taught the basics and advance Roller Skating to all ages for 9 years.
  • I managed and help coordinate events everyday of the week. With a full immersive experience Southgate had a constant flow of events ranging from and not limited to Public Sessions, Private Parties, Adult Nights, Live Shows, and Corperate Events all year long everyday of the week with over Two Thousand Skaters a week.
  • I ran the DJ Booth, the Font Desk, Bar, Karaoke Room, Party Room, The Skate Floor, and Skate Room all while on skates.
  • As a Floor Guard I manage people and the safety of all the skaters on the floor no matter the skill or age. Enforcing and monitoring SAFETY At ALL Times
  • Southgate Roller Rink was a labor of love that my husband I did together; as he rebuilt 90% of the property.
