Dynamic professional with a proven track record in administration and customer service, notably at Poiema Homeschool Fellowship. Skilled in conflict resolution and team collaboration, I successfully organized a co-op for 20 families, enhancing community engagement. I bring a personable approach to every role and recognize how important it is to connect with people that I am serving, but also those I am working with.
Together, myself and a friend named Beth O’Dell, started a homeschool co-op that serviced anywhere from 15 to 20 families, depending on the year. Creating the co-op required renting a facility, acquiring the proper insurance policy, putting together numerous legal documents and documents for the participants to read and sign. My position also required a lot of schedule organizing and conflict management skills as we created a new class schedule each trimester. This involved lots of coordinating with the parents to teach the classes. In addition to my administration role, I also taught classes myself.
Sarah Rappe, who currently works for 49 Degrees North, attended Poiema Homeschool Fellowship and that is how I got to know her.
I worked for five years in an adult family home, where I cooked meals, cleaned the home, gave medication to the residents, and bathed, dressed them and did anything else they needed to be comfortable.
