- Under this initiative BCBSND added new network Essentia to Dakota Blue Products. BCBSND product portfolio was more competitive by adding new Provider Networks for Value-Based Care (VBC) product.
- Expansion of OMADA Services
- Omada is telehealth provider of the Diabetes Prevention Program. BCBSND expanded Omada services from pre-diabetes to include three new programs:
- Diabetes Program
- Hypertension Program
- Bundle Program (Including both Diabetes and Hypertension)
- 2026 v1 Rewrite and Product Changes
- Annually, BCBSND makes product updates to remain competitive within the consumer market and to comply with required federal and state mandates. With implementation of this initiative, updates were made to BCBSND’s annual book of business, product portfolio, and benefit plan materials.
- Product Simplification
- The initiative allowed product to maintain popular features of current plans and introduced new design features that offer cost savings to clients including flat copay structure, selection of Net Results prescription drug benefit packages.
- Senior Markets DE Medicare Advantage
- Highmark launched competitively priced Medicare Advantage Products in Delaware to allow the ability to retain and grow membership and meet enrollment targets.
