Letter of Recommendation
To Whom it May Concern,
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Aretha Varner.
Aretha has been a member of a workforce program we offered at YWCA. I was lucky enough to get to know her over the course of the past year as she worked her way through the program.
She has demonstrated a level of resilience and perseverance that is nothing short of inspirational. This aspect of her character alone would make her an invaluable member to any team. However, in true "Aretha" fashion, there is so much more!
Aretha has been a fantastic and dedicated student throughout her time with us. She's always gone above in her schoolwork and when it comes to program events and cohort building activities. She has a positive attitude and strives to always do her best- with a smile on her face. Aretha works very hard and sets the bar high for herself and her peers. She has demonstrated strong leadership skills but is also able to work well within a team in any capacity. She is a naturally curious person and always asks thoughtful questions.
She is very reliable. If Aretha says she is going to do something, you can bet it will not only get done but get done on time and better than you had expected. Throughout her time in the program, she participated in many volunteer and cohort building activities. She was and continues to be, a fantastic peer mentor. She gives thoughtful and kind advice and is always willing to help peers work through any issue.
I enthusiastically recommend Aretha to be part of your team. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. My cell number is (520) 304-3320.
Thank you,
Emily Wilson
