I’m a current student at Mount Saint Mary College, trying to pursue a career in nursing. I have always had a passion to help individuals, knowing that my actions can positively impact someone's life brings me immense joy and satisfaction. Whether it's providing support during difficult times or simply being there to listen. It's incredibly rewarding to see the positive outcomes of my efforts and to know that I have contributed to someone's well-being. My experience as a bartender has equipped me with several transferable skills that make me a great fit for this role. I have honed my ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service, which is crucial when interacting with patients and their families. Working in a high-pressure environment has enhanced my stress management and multitasking skills, enabling me to remain calm and efficient during emergencies. Additionally, my attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork experience are directly applicable to the responsibilities of an EMT. I am confident that my physical stamina and adaptability will allow me to handle the demanding nature of this job.
