Stepdown ICU/ Telemetry Unit

• Regularly manage up to four telemetry patients unless caring for more hemodynamically unstable patients that require a 3:1 ratio.

• Safely administer IV titratable cardiac drips, heparin drips, or sedatives by continuously assessing patients, monitoring patient vital signs, lab results, and medication orders to ensure patients safety and positive patient outcomes.

• Review and interpret patient telemetry strips to assess for any changes in patient cardiac function.
