- Clean used medical equipment used to harvest donor
- Once cleaned, you thoroughly inspect each piece of equipment and look to make sure it's clean
- After you verify if it's clean, you wrap it up, document it and place it on shelves to be sterilized
- Then the sterilizing employee comes and grabs each wrapped item and places them on large carts (or small individual sterilizers) and sterilizes them
- After the items have been sterilized you place them on shelves for First In First Out order
- You then build carts with the clean and sterilized equipment so when they open new rooms to harvest more donor, they have everything they need.
