• Manage daily care, feeding, health monitoring, and welfare of horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, and other livestock.
• Support breeding programs, vaccinations, treatments, herd health initiatives, and animal identification procedures.
• Monitor and document animal health, behavior, feeding patterns, and production records.
• Operate and maintain tractors, skid steers, excavators, backhoes, trenchers, chainsaws, and other agricultural equipment.
• Perform pasture maintenance, irrigation management, fencing repairs, rotational grazing implementation, and land improvement projects.
• Transport livestock, feed, equipment, and agricultural supplies between facilities as needed.
• Train student workers and volunteers on animal handling, equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
• Assist faculty with agricultural demonstrations, hands-on instruction, inventory management, and facility operations.
